DOMolition is a Chrome extension that turns the page you're on into a pixel-art platformer. Run across the headlines, shoot the paragraphs, and watch the letters fall.

What happens to the page

Nothing is faked with a screenshot. The game reads the real page, so every site plays differently.

Text breaks into letters

Every word you destroy splits into its letters. They tumble down and pile up on whatever is still standing.

Holes show what's behind

Bullets chip, lasers burn lines, rockets blow craters. Through them you see a pixel city, mountains at dusk or sunny hills.

Anything you can see is a platform

Headlines, buttons, images and links become ledges. Shoot out the one you're standing on and you fall. A bar in the corner tracks how much of the page is gone.

Seven weapons and a grenade

Switch with the number keys or the mouse wheel.

: SMGFast and a little wild.
: ShotgunEight pellets. Kicks you backwards.
: RocketBlows a crater. Fire at your feet to rocket jump.
: LaserBurns a line through everything in its path.
: PlasmaBounces three times, then pops.

Controls

Start it from the toolbar icon or press Alt+Shift+W on any tab.

`A` `D` or arrows	Run
`W` or `Space`	Jump. Press again in the air to flip, hold to fly.
`S`	Hold to drop through a platform
Click / right-click	Shoot / throw a grenade
`1`–`7` or wheel	Switch weapon
`B`	Change the background behind the holes
`M` `H` `R`	Sound, help panel, respawn
`Esc`	Stop and put the page back

Your pages stay yours

DOMolition only runs when you click its icon or press the shortcut, and only on that tab. It needs no access to your sites until then.

It doesn't collect, store or send anything. The destruction is only on your screen: press Esc and the page is back to normal, and reloading always restores it. Privacy policy
